The wisemen traveled from the east, following the star and the star led them to Bethlehem.
Can this star be followed?
Does it change as you travel?
While it will be spectacular to see, it could present as a sign of something, like several years back with the blood moons.
Or the year that several planets aligned together.
God always uses the celestial as indicators of events, times and seasons of prophecy fulfillment.
Two things I have heard in this year, from those who proclaim prophecies, is that God will use a special sign to indicate a shift of favor for his people; 1. A very big name official will pass away (unsure if it is a King, or Queen, a President or celebrity) 2. He will give special supernatural gifts to the church and the church will use it to heal the people.

A reply for Money Bad. The near east is part of Asia. You are right in the fact that most of the people who have ever lived on the earth never got a first chance to hear the teachings of Jesus. The apostle of Jesus ,Luke , wrote the words of The Apostle Paul at Acts 24:15 stating that in the future there will be a resurrection. At that time , during the thousand year reign of Christ, untold billions will get a first opportunity to hear and live by what is taught. Also most people who claimed to be Christian will not be favored because of there hypocrisy (Matthew 7:13,14 & 22,23 ) Remember Abrahams seed (Jesus) was to bring blessings to all the people of the earth. (Genesis 22:18) God is not partial to any particular race or nation (Acts 10:34,35).

The book Daily Life in the Time of Jesus notes that flocks lived in the open air from “ the week before Passover ( late March ) “ through mid - November. We can estimate when Jesus was born by counting backward from his death on Passover, Nisan14 in the spring of the year 33 C.E. ( John 19:14-16) Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his three-and-a-half-year ministry, so he was born in the early fall of 2 B.C.E. ( Luke 3:23)

No, but it is significant. The Earth, Jupiter, and Saturn come into alignment on the winter solstice. Watch Israel.

I hate to disappoint, but Jesus was not born on December 25th. Nowhere in the bible does it say that. Most theologians say it was probably in spring because the sheep were in the pasture. Not in the manger/barn.

Calling it the Christmas Star is going to enrage the atheists. Imagine if it shined on the actual spot where Christ was born. It is a message from God.

Mankind’s allotted time to rule itself is 6000 years. We are on the cusp of the last 7 years of the 6000, the 7-year tribulation. Those who have been born again in Christ will be raptured up into Heaven before the 7-year tribulation begins. They will probably use an alien deception to explain the rapture to the unbelievers who are left behind.

I don’t know exactly when the rapture will be but we are in season. Now is the time to get right with the Lord.

Let me explain.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” - 1 Timothy 2:5

God is the Creator of all things.

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” - Genesis 1:16

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible...” - Colossians 1:16

God is holy and just.

The wages for breaking God’s law is eternal damnation.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” - Romans 3:23

So who can be saved? There is Good News. God sent a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - Romans 6:23

God came into His own creation as the man Christ Jesus and He was rejected.

“ 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” - John 1:9-11

Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8

Jesus was buried and on the third day He rose again.

“And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” - 1 Corinthians 15:4

Those who believe in Jesus are forgiven of all sins and have eternal life in paradise. Those who do not believe are not forgiven and so are condemned to eternal damnation for their sins. There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood and Jesus shed His innocent blood for us.

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.“ - Hebrews 9:22

“ But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” - 1 Peter 1:19

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” - Romans 10:9

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” - Ephesians 2:8

We are all a creation of God in His image but we become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” - Galatians 3:26

The children of God are joint-heirs with Christ to the eternal Kingdom of God.

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” - Romans 8:17

The children of God feel worthy to share the inheritance because we shared in the suffering, this life isn’t easy at times. The more you follow Jesus the more the world will hate you just like the world hated Jesus.

“But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” - 1 Peter 4:13

The things that God has prepared for His children are beyond our imagination.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” - 1 Corinthians 2:9

God’s children will be glorified and raptured up into Heaven before the coming 7-year tribulation begins.

“20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” - Philippians 3:20-21

The purpose of the coming 7-year tribulation is the redemption of Israel and a last chance for unbelievers to repent. Jesus said that this period will be the worst period on Earth that has ever been or ever will be.

Immediately after the 7-year tribulation Jesus will return with the glorified saints to rule over the world. This is the Kingdom Age of Christ.

I recommend the following sermons by Dr. John Barnett who is a reliable Bible scholar and pastor:

The 7-year tribulation:

The Kingdom Age:

Jesus said that only those who have been born again will enter the Kingdom Age. You must be born again in Christ to become a child of God.

I recommend the following sermon which explains what it means to be born again in Christ:

The story of Jesus is written in the stars by God:

What does the Bible say about aliens and ET?

The Bible is the written word of God. The Bible is the greatest gift of God to mankind as beautifully put by Prof John Lennox in the following video. Study the Bible and put the word into practice. Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6

Judgment is coming on the world so now is the time to get right with the Lord. Eternal life in paradise is the prize.

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” - Matthew 4:17

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” - Luke 13:3

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” - Matthew 11:15

“13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” - Matthew 7:13-14

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to post. Now is the time to get right with the Lord.

Something to think about. This “illumination” lead the men from the east first to Herod ( Matt2:1,2) , then Herod first directs them to Bethlehem ( Matt 2:3-6) after they went on their way the “ star” went ahead of them to the house where the young child was. The eventuality of all this is that Joseph and Mary have to flee to Egypt to protect young Jesus and Herod has all of the boys two years and younger killed in Bethlehem. In addition the “wise men” (KJ) or magi (NIV) according to A Handbook on the Gospel of Matthew, refers to Persian priests who were experts in Astrology. They claimed to be able to interpret dreams, and the skill of deriving from books and observation of the STARS a supernatural insight into coming events. Would God have used these type of men to bring about those outcomes. See Isaiah 47:13-15 and Deuteronomy 18:10-12

The star of Bethlehem was not a star, planet, comet, or some conjunction of celestial bodies (especially Jupiter & Saturn). It was a manifestation of God's shekinah glory. Here's the proof:
First, scripture does NOT say the Magi followed anything to Bethlehem. Rather, it says, they saw the “astera” (illumination/planet/star/comet)
of the king in the east. Scripture then says that after the Magi spoke with Herod, the “illumination” re-appeared (they rejoice when the saw the "star" AGAIN Matt 2:10). . . suggesting this illumination was not a part of the couple month journey to Jerusalem. Then, this “illumination” leads them from Herod’s location to the location of the holy child and it STOOD over Jesus’ location. (I’d like to see any celestialbody STAND over a specific location on earth for any length of time.) In addition, Herod’s location was due north of Bethlehem; meaning this illumination traveled from north to south. Celestial bodies do not travel from north to south, especially Jupiter/Saturn. ALL celestial bodies travel east to west. And they certainly don’t hang around (stand) to pin-pointing a "spec" on the map. In other words, stars/planets cannot PARK (stand) over a set location (in this case, the house where the Christ child
was located). Think about it; if by some miracle there was a visible celestial alignment that somehow pin-pointed Jesus location, don't ya think Herod would have seen it and taken out the Christ child even before the Magi reach Jesus’ location?
Finally, the "illumination" that the Magi witnessed from the first time they saw it, to when they laid eyes on Jesus was probable 2 years. No planetary conjunction (in this case Jupiter & Saturn) hardly last that long; in fact, this one lasts only a day or two, and won't conjoin again for about 20 years.

What the Magi saw was an illumination . . . . I identify it as the shekinah glory of our creator; similar to what John the Baptist saw at Jesus’ baptism . . . . “the spirit of God descending upon Jesus AS a dove.”

Here’s a better celestial alignment:

Bye-the-bye: Jesus was not born on the birth date for Christ-Mithras (where we get the word "Christmas"). Jesus born on the first day of the festival of Trumpets; circumcised on the 8th day. . . Fulling God's appointed feasts.
