Good Morning Shirley! What great ideas you always have, just don’t have enough time in the day to do them all. But maybe eventually I will get to it. Keep up the awesome videos really loving them. Love seeing your whole family too there’s nothing like spending time with your family it’s the best of all!
I just finished making about 50 cocktail napkins in a variety of bright tropical prints. They came out beautiful. I cut them about 11"x11" and finished size was about 10.25" square. The client asked that I trim corners prior to hemming raw edges to reduce bulk and she wanted a very narrow hem of about 5mm. Pressing is everything when making these. I recommend protecting your fingertips somehow to avoid burns. On my machine, the top thread stitching is nicer than the bobbin side so I stitch from the right side of the fabric which makes getting that straight edge stitch even harder. Thanks for your take on making napkins. A local fabric shop near me also has a helpful tutorial on their website. www.pickingdaisiesinslo.com
I have been following your channel for a while now and I have definitely seen an evolution in your video style which I absolutely love! Your channel is both informative and entertaining. Thanks so much. As a relatively new quilter, your videos have helped me a great deal. In fact I will be referencing your channel on my channel (The Idiot Quilter). Thanks for taking the time for creating great videos that are fun and educational.
