I only have to say ... the applause ruined the moment for me. Otherwise FANTASTIC performance!

Vaughan Williams piece reminds me of my father who loved this piece and taught me so much about classical music. I can't help but have tears in my eyes when I hear it, especially when it ends with voices that sound like a chorus of angels.

This is simply a wonderful piece of music and of all Vaughan Williams major choral pieces perhaps the most accessible to a non-professional choir. It deserves to be performed every Christmas.

Schöne Aufnahme dieses in Deutschland völlig zu Unrecht eher unbekannten und selten gespielten Stückes - Danke! Nebenbei, wer ist verantwortlich für diesen traurigen Weihnachtsbaum?

Nice recording of this in Germany rather unknown (and extremely rarely played) masterpiece thank you! By the way, whos responsible for this sad-eyed Christmas tee?

All who know the Lord cannot but be touched by these words, esp. "When sin departs before thy grace ... " Praise the LORD.
