It was interesting to see that you are pretty simple with your Christmas food choices in Norway.
In Portugal we have also as you do, different regions with different traditions but something is common is to eat codfish with steamed potatoes and collard greens, cabbage with lots of onion and garlic and olive oil , olives and good bread. We also have the rice porridge and we have a variation of that made with super thin pasta noodles called angel hair pasta. Also with sugar and cinnamon.
