New to this type of crochet. How does one make a large blanket when you can only fit so many chains on the hook? Thanks in advance.

A lot of people don't like doing the Tunisian simple stitch because the fabric curls so much from the bottom. I've found a way to almost eliminate this issue completely is to do this.... Instead of ONLY going through the vertical stitch, go through the vertical stitch AND the front loop of the top stitch right after the vertical stitch, then pull up your loop on your hook.

Unbelievably easy!!! I have read so many different instructions and just couldn't get it. Never made any sense to me and I could never find videos showing how to do it. Now I've seen it, I can just fly through an afghan. It's all about the visual for me! Thank you😊

Thank you for your very clear n friendly video. I now think I know what the long crochet hooks I’ve seen in my local wool shop are for now, making blankets or throws with this or a similar stitch. Am I correct?🤔

Hello Rebekah!! Thank you for this tutorial! This is the one and only stitch that I actually know for Tunisian crochet! I've never made anything with this type of crochet. But I've never known to go into the two loops at the very end the row!!! Thank you!!

Such lovely & delicate work! Thank you Rebekah! I'm so happy to see that you have introduced Tunisian crochet on your channel. Once discovered, I could not put it aside. The simplicity of the basic stitches make it accessible to a complete novice. With little more one can create fabric with the stretch and texture of knitting, yet worked with a hook like crochet. Thanks for giving my favourite fibre art a boost!

Your work is very beautiful. I haven’t done a C lot of Tunisian so I was wondering If Tunisian hooks that are long like a knitting needle. They don’t have a cable like yours. Can I still use mine?
